Preview: Miners Faceoff Against Texas A&M in First Round of TCHC Playoffs

AUSTIN, Texas – Finishing in 2nd place in TCHC, the Miners draw Texas A&M in the first round of the TCHC Playoffs in Austin, Texas.
Miners vs Aggies
During the regular season, the Miners and Aggies split 2-2 on the season. The Aggies swept the Miners at home. While the Miners swept the Aggies later in the season in El Paso with a 3-1 win in game 1 and a 5-4 overtime win in game 2. The Aggies lost their final three games in conference play.
Scouting the Aggies
The Aggies are 14-6 in conference play. Texas A&M is led by Forward Huston Svonrk who has 51 points this season. Svonrk leads with 25 goals and 26 assists. Christian Westerberg has logged 1092 minutes in net for the Aggies with Brydon Gillilian logged 1012 minutes this season. Westerberg has allowed 77 goals, 4.23 per game and has 337 saves this season.
