PREVIEW: Miners Head West to Arizona

Flagstaff, ARIZONA – The Miners hit the road this weekend to take on Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University starting tonight at 9:35pm MDT at the Jay Lively Arena in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Miners will wrap up their non-conference schedule this weekend.   
 
Miners vs Ice Jacks Series
UTEP and NAU meet for the second time this season as the Miners will look for redemption following a loss in the first meeting in El Paso, TX. The Ice Jacks won Game 1, 7-1 and shutout the Miners 6-0 in game 2.
 
Sweep in Dallas
Last weekend the Miners faced off against conference leader Dallas Baptist and got the sweep with a 5-2 win in game 1 and a 4-3 overtime win in game 2. Before heading home, the Miners won 12-1 over Southern Methodist University.
