El Paso, Texas – Since 2011 the El Paso Hockey Association has teamed up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research. This Saturday, March 4th marks the 7th Annual Head Shaving Event. Following, the El Paso Rhinos vs Springfield Express game the heading shaving will begin.
Miners Alek Lazarski, Gabe and Garrett Goodroe, Dominic Foggia, Josh Baeza and Head Coach Tom Herman will join the Rhinos and shave their heads in support of children fighting cancer. Each players head will be up for bid for fans to take the first swipe. All proceeds will go towards the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
As the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation believes that kids are special and deserve to be treated that way. St. Baldrick’s funds are granted to some of the most brilliant childhood cancer research experts in the world and to innovative explorers who bring with them the promise of a future free from childhood cancers. Kids need treatments as unique as they are – and that starts with funding research just for them. Join us at StBaldricks.org
